As a Feng Shui consultant, I have witnessed powerful shifts, but every so often, a transformation unfolds with such speed and clarity that even I'm left like a rabbit in headlights. This was one of those moments.
My client lived in a beautiful apartment overlooking the Thames in London where everything appeared aligned from the outside but energetically her space was holding onto an old version of her life. For several years she had big dreams of moving to Dubai to live and work visualising this new chapter again and again but just never quite reaching it. When we began our one-to-one Feng Shui consultation I knew that while the desire was strong the energy of the apartment was still anchored in the past.
From the outset her intention to me was clear: a complete life shift. And when energy is focused with clarity and precision, remarkable things can happen.
While I mapped her home completely and provided her with the full home analysis report advising her of the current energies in her home based on 5 numbers specific to her apartment and how to work and enhance or neutralise these energies, our work centred on two key guas of her home. First, the North, which in Feng Shui governs career and life path and is represented by the Water element. I advised her to activate this area intentionally by placing images of Dubai—skyline views, architecture, and landscapes that resonated emotionally with her vision. We also introduced Water energy into the space to support flow, opportunity, and movement.
The second focus was the West, associated with new beginnings, creativity, and future possibilities. Here, I guided her to activate the Metal element, which supports clarity, decisiveness, and forward momentum. Again, images of Dubai were placed here, reinforcing the message that this new life was not a distant dream but her new reality.
Just as importantly I asked her to thoroughly declutter and clean both areas, removing objects, paperwork, and items that tied her emotionally to her current and past life. This step was crucial.
Although her apartment was undeniably beautiful, its energy was speaking to her in an old language, something that no longer resonated with her. Feng Shui teaches us that even the most aesthetically pleasing spaces can hold us in place energetically. When a home reflects an outdated version of you, it resists change.
Once that old narrative was released, her intentions had space to land.
From our initial consultation to the moment she moved to Dubai, just three months passed. Opportunities aligned, doors opened, and the path forward unfolded with remarkable ease. The speed of the manifestation was extraordinary—and a powerful reminder of what is possible when energy, environment, and intention are fully aligned.
This experience is a testament to the power of Feng Shui. When you consciously shift the energy of your space and focus on specific guas with intention, you are not forcing change—you are allowing it.
And sometimes, that changes everything!
I love this story so much and it fills me with such happiness that I could share the truly magical practice that is Feng Shui.
